Steve Holmes, age 83, of Pine Bluff died Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Born December 19, 1932 at Leavenworth, Kan. ,he was a son of the late Ira Steve Holmes and Esther Stracener Price.
He served in the Untied States Navy and Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Holmes worked in the law enforcement field for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Osborn Holmes; seven children, Michael Holmes, Pamela Threet, Laura Davis, Becky Holmes, Steven B. Holmes, Sissy White, and Steven C. Holmes; step-children, Monty Palmer (who also served as caregiver), Andra Palmer, and Lana Palmer; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services, with Military Funeral Honors, will be Thursday, 2:30 pm at Quattlebaum Cemetery near Rosebud, Ark. By Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
