Jerry Prather
WHITE HALL – Jerry Alvin Prather, 74, of White Hall, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015. He was born January 23, 1941 in Pioneer, La., to the late Lloyd and Beatrice Prather DeCorte. He was of Baptist faith and had worked for Terminix pest control for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Laverne Stembridge Prather; brother, Joe DeCorte; sister, Melba Pamplin.
Jerry is survived by: son, Robbie (Mona) Prather; daughters, Christy (Dewayne) Wright and Kathy (Todd) Ross; grandchildren, Morgan Prather, Rachael, Amy and Julianne Wright; brothers, Waymon and Ronnie Prather, Jim and Nick Corte; sisters, Ginger DeCorte and Nancy Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Bayou Cemetery near Bismarck, Ark.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trinity Village, 6100 Trinity Dr., Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71603.
