KANSAS CITY, MO. – Funeral services for Jeffrey “Jesse” Lambert, Jr., 49, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Pine Bluff, passed April 25, 2015. Services will be held at 11 a.m. , Saturday at Family Time Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Michael E. Williams, pastor; Rev. Jerry Lambert officiating.
He was born December 17, 1965 to Jeffrey Lambert, Sr. and Beatrice Winston Lambert in Pine Bluff. He was educated in Pine Bluff public schools. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He later moved to Kansas City, Mo. where he made his home for the past twenty-six years.
He united in marriage to the former Mary Sherman. Jeffrey was employed at the Marriott Hotel Residence Inn While at Marriott he received several awards for his quality performance.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Lambert, Sr.
He leaves to mourn his loss wife, Mary Sherman Lambert “Honey”; one son, Cedric Lambert of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Janene “Boda” Gibson (Henry, Jr.) of Independence, Mo., Shacha Lambert of Pine Bluff; his mother, Beatrice Lambert of Pine Bluff; six sisters, Leslie (Danny) Tosca of Pine Bluff, Elizabeth (Varnell) Hegwood of Rowlette, Texas, Verline (William) Forney, Lucille (louis) Tosca, Sherry Mooney all of Pine Bluff, Teresa Cartwright of Temecula, Calif.; three brothers, Jerry Lambert, Charles, Lambert, and Kenneth Turner all of Pine Bluff; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation may be made Friday from 6-7 p.m. at Family Time Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
