Patching Crew: Filled potholes on Island Harbor Road. Culvert Crew: Repaired driveway on Willowpond Road and used eight yards of SB2 on the road. Truck Driver: Hauled 92.77 tons of Class 2 Min. Aggregates from Granite Mountain Quarries to Morgan Road. Grader Operator: Graded Griderfield Road, Ferda Road, Catus Trail, Crossett Road, Deer Lane, Rado Drive, Lawrence Road, Straughn Road, Buttermilk Road, Milner Road, Taloha Road and Jericho Road. Boom Mower Operator: Cut right-of-way on Bugle Road. Cut grass in ditches on Clint Henderson Road and Pinebergen Road. Sign Shop: Put a road sign up on Adams Road. Made a one call report for the work to be done on Griderfield Road. Changed out the grader blades on the grader. Environmental Officer: Checked county roads for illegal dumping and trashy yards.

Set up Crew: Continued the chip and seal resurface job on Morgan Road. Truck Driver: Hauled 87.15 tons of Class 2 Min. Aggregates from Granite Mountain Quarries to Morgan Road. Grader Operator: Graded CC Road, Collier Lee Road, Harvey Road, Wilson Road and Randolph Road. Boom Mower: Cut grass in ditches on Clint Henderson Road. Sign Shop Operator: Put two road signs up on Lee Springs Road, three on Providence Road and one on Crossett Road.

Aggregates from Granite Mountain Quarries to Morgan Road. Grader Operator: Graded McEntire Road, McIntosh Road, Gilliand Road and Huntley Trail. Ditching Crew: Cleaned out ditches on Crooked Creek Road. Boom Mower Operator: Cut right-of-way on Lisa Lane, Melanie Lane and Weeks Road.
Cardboard is a big source of revenue for the recycling center. Businesses call to set up a pickup for cardboard at their location and it is picked up and taken to the recycling center on Gravel Pit Road where it is bailed for the source that has been contracted to recycle the cardboard.
The Jefferson County Road Department has a mechanic shop that does various mechanic jobs on the county’s heavy equipment as well as cars and trucks that belong to Jefferson County.
All logging companies and construction companies that haul heavy loads over the Jefferson County roads are required to be bonded in order to use the county roads in Jefferson County.
