James Raymon “Sackey” Sewell, 72, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born June 10, 1943, in Pine Bluff, to Ray and Estelle Peterson Sewell.
Sackey worked 42 years for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and had traveled the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Waters Sewell and a daughter, Cindy Jones (Chad) of Columbus, Ga.

There will not be a service or visitation.
