James Matthews Elementary School, 4501 Dollarway Road, will hold its Pre K and kindergarten registration April 30-May 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The child must be 3 years old on or before Aug. 1; be 4 on or before Aug. 1; or be 5 on or before Aug. 1.
To register a child, the following is needed: updated immunization records, a physical exam (yearly for children 3-5), proof of income, proof of residence, child’s Social Security card, and one of the following: birth certificate, statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying child’s date of birth, attested baptismal certificate, passport, affidavit of the day and place of birth by the child’s parent or guardian, previous school records, or U.S. Military identification.
