James Ross “Jimmy” Hooker, 84, of Pine Bluff, died July 4, 2014. Born June 24, 1930 in Jefferson County, he was a son of the late Jesse Guy Hooker, Sr. and Florence Arnold Hooker. He was employed by International Paper Company for many years, and a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jackie Hensarling Hooker; siblings, J. G. Hooker, Jr., Lucille Tucker, Thomas Hooker, Irene Davis, John Arnold Hooker, and Carolyn Patton.
Survivors include his caregivers, Patti Hooker Cash and Kelli Hooker; along with nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 10 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with interment in Hooker Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
