McGEHEE – James Ellis, Jr., 83, of McGehee, passed away on January 2, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, in Little Rock, Ark. He was born March 6, 1931 To the late James Ellis, Sr., and Carrie White. Survivors include; wife, Onecca Ellis of McGehee, Ark., one daughter, Janet Simpson of Detroit, Mich., one son, Perry Ellis of McGehee, Ark.; sisters; Georgia E. White, Carlee Mitchell and Eugene Christopher all of McGehee, Ark., 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., January 10, 2015 at Evening Star Baptist Church- McGehee, Ark. by Rev. William Jarman. Burial will be at Strickland Memorial Lawn- McGehee, Ark. Visitation will be Friday Evening from 6-7 p.m. at Davis Strickland Funeral Home in Dermott, Ark.
