Jerry Wayne Lindsey, 72, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, July 19, 2014.
Born April 8, 1942, Torrance, California, he was a son of the late Leon Lindsey and Alice Topping Lindsey.
A 1960 graduate of Mira Costa High School, Redondo Beach, Calif. before serving in the United States Army.
Mr. Lindsey retired as a collector for the California Gas Company after 30 years of service. His pastimes included trout fishing and rummage sales.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a sister, Jeanette Ackridge.
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lucille Nix Lindsey; sons, Jerry N. Lindsey (Ellen) and Waite Lindsey; sisters, Alice Woodruff and Minnie Lou Petty; seven grandchildren, Troy, Ben, Kyla, Amber, Kialie and Oscar; six great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Graveside services will be Thursday, 12:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at North Little Rock.
