The Ivy Center for Education Inc. will hold an organizational meeting and ACT Prep and College Readiness Workshops.
Tuesday, Aug. 29 — The Ivy Center for Education will hold its organizational meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 913 University Drive. Students in 7th through 12th grades and their parents are encouraged to attend.
Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 6-7 — The Ivy Center for Education will host ACT Prep and College Readiness Workshops at Dollarway High School, 2602 Fluker St., beginning with a nutritious snack at 4 p.m. Students in 7-12th grades may attend. The college readiness workshops will be held from 4:30-5 p.m., conducted by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s LIONS Program and Recruitment Office. From 5-6:30 p.m., the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville will present ACT Prep Workshops. Students should bring pencil and paper.
