The Ivy Center for Education has scheduled several meetings.
Jan. 10 – from 6-7 p.m., Ivy Center will meet at Faith Presbyterian Church, 913 University Drive. The spokeswoman with a University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences program will meet with ICE future medical professionals as well as all ICE members. Students are asked to wear their UAMS T-shirts. Participants will also discuss upcoming activities honoring the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., ACT Prep Workshop, Arkansas Field Studies Trip, and the 2017 ICE College Tour/Cultural Enrichment Trip. Permission slips are due for the trips, a spokeswoman said.
Jan. 17 – from 6-7 p.m., Ivy Center will meet at Faith Presbyterian.
Jan. 24 – from 6-7 p.m., Ivy Center for Education will meet at Faith Presbyterian. Director Sederick Rice of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Math and Science Pre-College STEM Center will present an “Innovations in Robotics” workshop.
Jan. 31 – from 6-7 p.m., Ivy Center will meet at Faith Presbyterian.
