The Kiwanis Club of Pine Bluff meets at noon Wednesdays at the Pine Bluff Country Club. On Sept. 13, the club will hear a presentation about human trafficking and observe National Assisted Living Week.
The guest speaker will be Angela Roby, outreach/case manager at Ambassadors For Christ. Her goal is to spread the awareness of human trafficking to the community to make sure everyone knows what it looks like, according to a news release.
National Assisted Living Week is being observed Sept. 10-16. Lea Reed, RN, nurse consultant from Trinity Village, has been selected by the Kiwanis Club to receive a certificate of Appreciation from the Kiwanis Club.
