A new initiative to deal with hot checks will be explained Thursday during a meeting conducted by the Jefferson County District Court, prosecutor’s office and the sheriff’s department.
The program will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Division One Courtroom and the public is invited to attend. For questions or more information, call 541-4646.
