A ribbon-cutting will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, to celebrate the completion of the first segment of the Monticello Bypass, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT.)
Members of the Arkansas Highway Commission, ARDOT Officials, Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin, and local area officials will attend.
Interested participants should travel south on U.S. 425 to the intersection of Future U.S. 69, turn east on the 278 Bypass, proceed for one mile to event site, according to a news release.
