Herman Wilson


Funeral services for Mr. Herman James Wilson, 66, of Pine Bluff passed June 23, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Regenerated Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 East 6th, Pine Bluff, Reverend Levell Bass, Pastor.

He was born February 15, 1949 to the late Liza Turner and Jim Wilson in Texarkana, Ark. He received his education from Texarkana Schools in Texarkana, Ark.

Mr. Wilson had many trades from owing his own grocery stores, car lot, tarvens, detail shops, and restaurant. His hobbies were cooking, traveling, fixing cars, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was an active member of Grace and Mercy Baptist Church until his health failed him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include two sons, William Brown and Wesley Little both of Milwaukee, Wis.; four daughters, Tennetta Wilson of Pine Bluff, Anna (Danny) Danon, Veronica (Mike) Mixon, and Edna Brown all of Milwaukee, Wis.; six brothers, Jessie Lee Wilson of Milwaukee, Wis., Harold Wilson, Merrell (Willie) Smith, Robert Wilson, Timothy Smith, Phillip Wilson all of Texarkana, Ark.; four sisters, Lula Jackson, Lena Owens, Jo Rene Wilson, Carolyn Beal all of Texarkana, Ark.; twenty-one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and long time friends.

Visitations will be held Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at Regenerated Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Chapel Woods Cemetery, Texarkana, Texas.
