Henry George “Spec” Greeson, 85, of Pine Bluff went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Born Oct. 21, 1929, in Fitzsimons, Colo., he was a son of the late Robert William Greeson and Viola A. Homeier Greeson.
Mr. Greeson was a licensed electrician and retired in 1998 after 45 years of service at Central Moloney. He was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church and the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
His first wife of 49 years, Mary Inez Puckett Greeson, whom he married on Sept. 12, 1953, predeceased him on July 16, 2003; also predeceasing him are four sisters, Roberta McBrayers, Virginia Peterson, Charlotte Pitcock and Patricia Howard.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy Vanlandingham Price Greeson, whom he married on June 18, 2004; children William Greeson (Beverly), Brenda Thorne (Joseph), Mary Carroll (Preston) and Judy Cunningham (Curtis); stepchildren Jim Price (Sharon) and Melinda Hill (Tom); 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Robert Cossey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
