Lydia Helen Fehr Deniston, 94, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
Born February 3, 1920 at Lucky Lading near Arkansas City, she was a daughter of the late Conrad Fehr and Ida May Stanley Fehr. Mrs. Deniston had worked at JRMC for a member of years and was also a beautician. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and volunteered at Neighbor – to-Neighbor for 11 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Joseph Alvin Comeaux, Porter Ratliff, and Coleman Deniston; three daughters, Helen May, Lydia Reneene Hollis and Lorraine Comeaux; step-daughter, Betty Sue Stokes; and three siblings. Mrs. Deniston is survived by her son, Porter “Rusty” Ratliff; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Walter Van Zandt Windsor officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
