Sandy Smith, Heart-N-Hands Extension Homemakers Club president, welcomed everyone to the meeting and annual picnic recently at the Pursuit Church in White Hall.

The club voted to make the Transformation Project at Pursuit Church the community service project for the 2025-2026 EHC Project Book, according to a news release.

Lori Rosetti and Terri Penna gave updates on upcoming club craft workshops after meetings.

Debbie James gave updates on the Southeast Arkansas District Fair: Fair Clean Up — begins at 8 a.m. Sept. 18; Fair Check In for EHC members — 2-5 p.m. Sept. 19; Fair Check-In — 2-6 p.m. Sept. 21; Fair Judging — begins at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 22; Health Fair and Bake-Off (feature ingredients – pecans) begins at 10 a.m. Sept. 25; Fair Check-Out — 2-5 p.m. Sept. 28.

After a lunch featuring hamburgers and all the fixings, Jody Stout (club vice president) led the group in playing Bingo.
