White Hall homemakers meet

Willing Workers of White Hall Extension Homemakers Club met Aug. 26 at the White Hall Library. President Sarah Payton called the meeting to order and members had a Luau-themed potluck meal, according to a news release.

The Homemakers Creed was led by Payton. Roll was called by Secretary Tonia Dalby. Minutes of June and July meetings were read, corrected and approved. The treasurer’s report was given by Marnette Reed.

Although there was no program, the members enjoyed celebrating the summer season and partaking of Bingo, according to the release.

The meeting was closed by Vice President Dee Kindrick with members reciting the Homemakers Prayer.
