Habitat to accept home applications Sept. 24-25

Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity will conduct Home Ownership Orientations and distribute applications for people interested in being a part of the program.

Applications can only be received from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 24-25, at the Donald Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave. Applications must be returned on either of these two days, but no later than noon Monday, Sept. 28, in suite 205 of the center.

All applicants must be residents of Jefferson County. Proper identification, proof of income and declaration of need must accompany the application.

Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian housing ministry with the purpose of building and selling decent, safe and affordable homes to those in need.

The next home to be built in partnership with a qualified family is made possible by grant monies received from Pine Bluff Area Arkansas Community Foundation and Synergy.
