Grace Willing Workers met recently at Centennial Fellowship Church at White Hall.
President Debbie James welcomed 29 members and two visitors.
Lucy Meeks gave the thought of the day. The handy hint for the day was, “Too much chocolate, freeze it in air tight containers. Last forever.”
The inspiration was read by Kaye Richardson: Isaiah 7:14 — “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The Virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
Sabrina Self-Gwin called the roll by asking each member and visitor to tell what special meaning Christmas has for them. The program was a wonderful Christmas party enjoyed by all, according to a spokesman. Santa came and handed out presents. The group exchanged candy and cookies that were homemade.

Verneita Self read a Christmas Story. Twelve door prizes were given away to members and visitors.
Community Service project: Barbara Stone delivered 230 plus hats to Arkansas Children’s Hospital on Dec. 16.
Fellowship tours: Bettye Johnson reported 26 EHC members attended the Salvation Army Luncheon. The table decorations were beautiful. Twelve members toured the Governor’s Mansion. It was a cold rainy day, but the spokesman said the group had a lot of fun and fellowship touring the mansion, shopping at Michael’s and eating at Cracker Barrel.
Fund Raiser: Kaye Richardson reported that the group will start selling raffle tickets for an afghan handmade by Marjorie Zuber. It will be given away on Mother’s Day.
The club donated $50 to the following organizations for Christmas: White Hall Humane Society, American Red Cross, White Hall Angel Tree, and five angels from the Angel Tree at Centennial Fellowship Church.
