Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders recognized 42 Arkansas farm families as the newest inductees into the Arkansas Century Farm Program last Wednesday. Several are from southeast Arkansas.

This year’s 42 newly inducted farms represent the following counties: Arkansas, Ashley, Baxter, Benton, Boone, Calhoun, Clark, Clay, Cleburne, Cleveland, Columbia, Conway, Craighead, Cross, Fulton, Hempstead, Hot Spring, Howard, Izard, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lawrence, Lee, Lincoln, Logan, Lonoke, Monroe, Ouachita, Prairie, Pulaski, Searcy, St. Francis, Stone, Union, and Yell.

Southeast Arkansas farms include:

Willowbank Farm — Jefferson and Lincoln counties, established 1890

RHH Farms of Gillett, LLC — Arkansas County, established 1894

Sebree Farm — Arkansas County, established 1911

Hasty Family Farm — Arkansas County, established 1857

David and Dana Moseley Farm — Cleveland County, established 1856

With these additions, there are now 687 Century Farms across Arkansas, according to a news release.

The Arkansas Century Farm Program honors farms of 10 acres or more that have been owned by the same family for at least 100 years.

“Our Century Farm inductees do more than just farm – they have a legacy of leadership that pays dividends across the state,” said Sanders. “Thank you for keeping our country fed, our state growing, and our communities strong. We will not forget and we will keep working hard to support you in every way we can.”

Established by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture in 2012, the Century Farm Program highlights the contributions of these families to the state’s agriculture industry. Participation is voluntary and offered at no cost to families.

“We’re proud to join Gov. Sanders in adding 42 additional family farms to the Century Farm Program,” said Arkansas Secretary of Agriculture Wes Ward. “Agriculture is our state’s largest industry and the foundation of our economic success — and these 687 Century Farm Families, located throughout the state of Arkansas in all 75 counties, represent a legacy of hard work, perseverance, and commitment that have helped to make our state and our agriculture industry what it is today.”

A full list of this year’s inductees is available on the department’s website: https://media.ark.org/agri/2025-Century-Farm-Inductees.pdf.

Applications for the program will open in spring 2026. More information about the program and previous inductees can be found on the department’s website.
