STAR CITY — Glynn Allen Carter, 66 of Star City, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born July 7, 1945 to Ruth McFalls Carter and the late William Glyn Carter.
Glynn was a member of Crigler Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; Lena Harrison Carter of Star City, one son; Sammy Glyn Carter and wife Amber of Star City, one daughter; Falissa Carter of Conway, his mother; Ruth McFalls Carter of Star City, one brother; Ronnie Carter of Star City, one sister; Diana Carter Morgan of Star City, four grandchildren; Brock Sullivan, Peyton Sullivan, Slayde Carter and Sami Carter, and helpful caretaker; Jan Jenkins.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. David Leopard will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Best Cemetery.
