LONG BEACH, CALIF. — Glenene Castle Johnson West of Long Beach, Calif., died February 28, 2012 in Long Beach, Calif. She was born November 6, 1937 in Stuttgart, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, (Bill) Franklin West; mother, Frieda Olive Blohn, father, Alvin Franklin Johnson, both of Stuttgart.
Survivors include three children, Frieda Mills, Long Beach, Calif., Norman Dixon, Jr., Tampa, Fla., Glenn Dixon, Victorville, Calif.; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
She willed her body to science and asked that her final remains be cremated and scattered at sea.
