LITTLE ROCK — George Edward McMillin, 94, of Little Rock, passed away on February 9, 2012. He was born August 26, 1917 in Stuttgart, Ark., the son of the late James Edward and Julia Davis McMillin. He was a postal carrier with the United States Post Office and was a member of the 65th Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie McMillin and his sister, Edna Mae McMillin.
He is survived by his niece, Wanda Holdford Wigley and husband, Marshall; great-niece Maxann Mizell and husband, Clint; a great-great nephew, Lawton Alan Wigley Smith; and great-great nieces, Kelby Rae Smith and Karter Marie Smith.
A visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2012 at the funeral home with Don McClain officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
