Gary Dale “Big Mack” McDougal, 65, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
Born December 27, 1946 at Newport, Ark., he was a son of the late James Wilson McDougal and Loris Oneta Thomason McDougal.
A Pine Bluff High School graduate, Gary was a veteran of the United States Navy retiring as Aviation Electricians Mate-Petty Officer First Class after 17 years of service.
He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 830 and of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 12.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson McDougal.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rebecca Martin McDougal; children, Gary McDougal, Jr. and wife Kirsty, Todd McDougal, Jackie McDougal, Martin Stevens, Jason Stevens and wife Jennifer, Jeremiah Stevens, Aimee Shinn and husband Chad; sisters; Jane Ashcraft and husband Duffy, and Deloris Ketch and husband Bob; seven grandsons, Hunter, Alex, Charlie, Hayden, Timothy, Thomas, and Garrison; and many other loving family and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stephen Harrison officiating.
The family will be at Mr. McDougal’s residence at other times, 7401 Sulphur Springs Rd.
