HOT SPRINGS — The Magnolia Room at Garvan Woodland Gardens will be the setting for three Mondays in August for the Gardens most intensive Landscape Design workshops.
The workshops will be held on August 13, 20, and 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Learn from the gardening masters how to design your own landscape and which plants to select for optimum impact.
Janet Carson, horticultural specialist for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, and Bob Byers, the Gardens’ resident landscape architect, will lead the class through the necessary steps for designing and planting an amazing outdoor space.
The cost is $75 for GWG members and $85 for non-members and includes all three sessions. Lunch may be purchased from the Chipmunk Café, or participants may bring their own lunch. Advance reservations and pre-payment are required for these workshops.
To reserve space, please call the Gardens at 501-262-9300 or 800-366-4664.
