First Trinity Church of God in Christ will sponsor a free back-to-school conference Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers will distribute school supplies to all students who attend and lunch will be provided.
The Young Men of Valor and Young Women of Excellence conference is for youth 6 to 18 years old. Males will meet at the Trinity Annex, 2900 W. Sixth Ave., and females will meet at First Trinity church, 800 Catalpa St.
Interested participants are asked to confirm their attendance so that organizers will have an accurate count for sack lunches. Details: Call 534-2873 by Aug. 16.
