Free health screenings will be conducted at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative, 912 W. Sixth Ave., for children in the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY), Parents As Teachers (PAT) and ABC programs.
The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointments only. Parents should bring updated immunization records of their children.
