EL PARIAN MEXICAN RESTAURANT, 8420 Dollarway Road, White Hall. Date of inspection June 10. No paper towels available at the hand washing sink in the employee restroom. Provide a supply of individual disposable towels or a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or a heated-air drying device at each handwashing sink in food preparation, toilet and warewashing areas. Paper towels were provided at the hand washing sink during the inspection. No soap available at the hand washing sink in the employee restroom. Provide an adequate supply of hand cleanser (liquid, powder or bar) at each handwashing sink. Soap was provided at the hand washing sink during the inspection. Observed containers of food in the walk in cooler being stored on the floor. Food shall be protected from contamination by storing in a clean dry location where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination and at least 6 inches above the floor. Observed single use containers being used to store food in. Single service items must not be reused.
MORGAN FARMS, 8309 Old Warren Road. Date of inspection June 11. At least one EMPLOYEE that has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control FOOD preparation and service shall be a certified FOOD protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an ACCREDITED PROGRAM.
MOMMA’S DINER, 3015 W. 28th Ave. Date of follow-up inspection June 11.Observed some damaged ceiling tiles in the dry storage area. The PHYSICAL FACILITIES shall be maintained in good repair.
CHURCH’S CHICKEN, 1601 S. Cherry St. Date of inspection June 11. Observation: Cardboard is being used to cover the floor in cooking area. Cardboard material shall not be used in the kitchen area. Observation: Walls and ceiling tiles are soiled in establishment. Corrective Action: Nonfood contact surfaces shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. Observation: Stove has accumulation of grease/residue. Corrective Action: The food contact surfaces of cooking equipment and pans shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other soil accumulations. Observation: Observed missing and broken floor tiles in establishment. Corrective Action: The PHYSICAL FACILITIES shall be maintained in good repair. Observation: Standing water at the drain in the cook area Corrective Action: The PHYSICAL FACILITIES shall be maintained in good repair. Observation: Air vents need to be cleaned. Corrective Action: Clean the physical facilities as often as necessary to keep them clean.
COLTON’S STEAK HOUSE & GRILL, 8529 Sheridan Road, White Hall. Date of inspectoin June 12. Observed food residue in the back hand washing sink. A handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use, and do not use for purposes other than handwashing. Hand washing sink was cleaned out during the inspection.
