Funeral services for Floyd Payne, 69, of Pine Bluff, passed December 20, at his home, will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. Family Time MBC Rev. Michael Williams pastor.
He was born January 20, 1946 in Turrell, Ark., son of James Payne Dollie M. Payne. He attended Phelix High School, he also attended University of Pine Bluff. He wa a Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John Payne, Bobby Kent.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Evelyn Payne; one son, Dennis Thompson (Patricia); and two daughters, Angela Gant (Ronny) and LaSandra Payne all of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one aunt, Della Connor Miles of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Vera (Harold) McDonald, lrene (Robert) Ward of West Memphis, Ark., Ethel (Charles) Aikens of Turrell, Ark., and Emma Praore of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Osa Payne of Sunset, Ariz.; one brother-in-law, Sterling Thompson; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation may be held Saturday 12:00 p.m. until funeral time 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in VA Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Ark. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
