The Family Community Development Corp. will present its fourth annual board holiday banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the family life center of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2101 W. Reeker St. Tickets are $25.
This event will help FCDC raise funds to support youth and family programs that target residents of the University Park neighborhood, Pine Bluff and Jefferson County, a spokesman said.
“We will be honoring the following outstanding pillars of the community for giving their time, talent and treasure to support the Family Community Development Corporation and Pine Bluff community over the last four decades,” the spokesman said.
Honorees include Vanette Johnson, Jerry Taylor, Evelyn Horton, Alderman George Stepps, Calvin Johnson, Sheriff Gerald Robinson and Rosemary Word.
