Commodity foods will be issued at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the former Merrill School auditorium, 1201 W. Pullen St., at Pine Bluff.
The Pine Bluff-Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Commission will distribute the U.S. Department of Agriculture foods.
To apply for assistance, participants need a picture ID of the person requesting food and Social Security numbers and birth dates for everyone in the household. This information is required even for picking up food for someone else.
Applicants must meet income eligibility. Income eligibility may be determined by participating in the food stamp program, being a foster child or the household meets requirements which compare the family size and income to the state income guidelines of 130 percent of the poverty level. For a household of one, the monthly countable income limit is $1,265.
