Farmers invited to financial workshop

Arkansas Land and Farm Development Corp. will sponsor a community development workshop Aug. 23 beginning at 10 a.m. at the S.J. Parker 1890 Extension Building at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

Topics include:

• How USDA Conservation Easement can provide additional income and protect natural resources.

• GAP/GHP certification for specialty crop (vegetable) production and marketing, energy conservation and production, opportunities for beginning farmers and affordable housing.
