STAR CITY – Fannie M. Turner, 83 of Star City died Thursday. She was born April 24, 1931 in Star City to the late Oscar and Jennie Leonard Carter.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, J.E. “Shorty” Turner; five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one son, Edward (Jennifer) Turner; two daughters, Bobbie Turner and Brenda Turner; one brother; one sister and two grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Bro. Gid Walters officiating. Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial at Holly Springs Cemetery.
