Mrs. Evora Willis-Canada, 83, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Mitchellville died Tuesday, March 18,2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
Born February 12, 1931 in Tillar, Ark. (Desha County), she was a daughter of the late Lawyer and Cynthia Irvin Willis. She was a member of Mt. Moriah MBC in Dumas serving as an Usher, and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, E.C. Canada of Pine Bluff; three sons, Tyree Canada, Ronnie Canada both of Little Rock, Lee Edward Canada of Mitchellville; three daughters, Warner C. Turner, Denise Johnson both of Pine Bluff, Bobbie Ann Coleman of Little Rock; one brother, Levell Willis of Milwaukee; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Mt. Moriah MBC in Dumas with Rev. J.L. Morton officiating.
Burial will be in New Light Cemetery in Tillar by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4-5 p.m.
