Euva Patterson


GLENDALE — Euva Lee Patterson, 83, of Glendale, died Wednesday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

She was born August 21, 1928 in Quitman to the late, Finis E. and Eva Lee Flowers Holland. She was a retired School Teacher, serving both the Glendale and Star City School Districts. She was a member of the Star City Church of Christ and the Arkansas Education Association.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Patterson of Glendale, two sons, Billy K. Patterson of Pine Bluff, Dale E. Patterson and wife Lynda Marie of Glendale, two daughters, Lynda E. Davis of Glendale and Geneva Lay and husband Wayne of Russellville. Other survivors include two sisters, Colene Curry of Star City, Opal Brown of Daleville, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Suzanne Patterson of Crestview, Fla., Angelia Leighanne Lewis of Russellville, Jason Lay of Pine Bluff, Adrian Moore of Warren, Dana Patterson Keathley of Star City, Amanda DeJarnette of Star City, Elizabeth Puckett of Star City, Heather Patterson Bhandari and Brandon Patterson both of Magnolia, twenty great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Carl Gene Holloway and Bro. Melvin Baxter officiating. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery near Glendale. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
