RISON – Ethel Lee Darrough McLemore was born in Rison, Arkansas, on May 7, 1932, to O Z Darrough and Gracie Washington Darrough. She is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. On Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Ethel Lee transitioned from this life. She leaves to cherish her memories her two daughters, Mary McLemore Jones and Rhonda Johnson both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and one son; Merion McLemore (Peggy) of Orlando, Florida; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Darrough of Wilma, Arkansas and a special cousin; Bertha Lee Gregory of St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014, at The Church Of Jesus Christ with the Suffragan Bishop Samuel Gaynor, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Visitation will be held Friday at the mortuary from 5-6 p.m. Mrs. McLemore will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
