Rev. Elvert McKnight, 65, of Pine Bluff, Ark. passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014. He was born in Pine Bluff, to the late Robert and Bellmonda Velma (Tyler) McKnight.
Survivors include wife, Grace R. (Williams) McKnight of Pine Bluff; son, Tyrone McKnight of Chicago, Ill., step-sons, Brandon Williams of Texarkana, Frank Williams, III; daughters, Latasha McKnight both of Pine Bluff, Kassandra McKnight-Young of Kansas City, Mo., Amanda McKnight; brother, Joe Louis McKnight both of Pine Bluff; sisters, Erma Lee Girley of Jacksonville, Ola Mae Davis of Altheimer, Ester Jean Jackson of Pine Bluff; fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Old St. James Baptist Church by Rev. Woodrow Jackson. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Section of Graceland Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. with a Visitation/Family Hour from 7-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
The body will lie in repose Saturday at Old St. James from 1:15 p.m. until time of service.
The family will be at 613 West 24th Avenue, Pine Bluff.
