STAR CITY – Elma Alford Stewart, 97 of Star City, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Bonnie. She was born February 19, 1917 in Lawrenceburg, TN to the late Gillie and Elma Fautz Alford. Elma is survived by her children, India (the late Kenneth) Hay, Bonnie Pearson and James (Sharon) Stewart, Jr.; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great-grandson. Graveside Services are 4:00p.m. Saturday at Kidd Cemetery near Lawrenceburg, Tenn. with Rev. Joseph Alford officiating.
