STAR CITY – Elean “Tootsie” Cogbill Drake, 77 of Star City died Friday at her home. She was born August 30, 1937 in Star City to the late Clarence and Olean Carmon Cogbill. She was retired from National Wire Corporation in Star City.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Donald W. “Duck” Drake; son, Tommy L. Drake; and grandson, Matthew Drake.
Survivors include two sons, Scotty D. Drake and Jimmy W. Drake, both of Star City; two brothers, Billy Cogbill of Burksville, Ky., and Jerry Cogbill of Henderson, Tenn.; two sisters, Joann Cooper of Star City and Jimmie Sue Green of Buford, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
