East Camden training academy graduates 57

The Arkansas Division of Law Enforcement Standards and Training celebrates the graduation of Class 2025-C at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in East Camden.

This graduating class represents a diverse group of 57 cadets from 38 agencies who have completed months of intensive training, according to a news release.

“These cadets have accepted the call to service and completed one of the most demanding law enforcement training programs in the state,” said Scott Williams, ALETA East Camden supervisor. “They are now ready to go out into the field prepared and with purpose.”

ALETA East Camden has comprehensive instruction in physical fitness, tactical training, community policing and ethical decision making.

“The cadets are now ready to protect the communities they serve,” according to the release.

Special recognition and awards were presented to the cadets who attained the highest scores within the respective training categories:

ACADEMICS

First place, Amanda Medina, Russellville Police Department.

Second place, Marquis Blake, Pine Bluff Police Department.

Third place, Garrett Parish, Van Buren Police Department.

PHYSICAL FITNESS

Third place, Tryvarious Cole, Pine Bluff Police Department.
