SCOTT – Earl Reaves, 83, of Scott, Ark. passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. He was born January 28, 1933 in Dumas to the late John Henry and Flora Lozar Reaves. He attended schools in Kelso and worked for Ben Pearson as a bow designer. Earl was a member of The Church at Willow Beach and a past member of Claude Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Peggy Reaves; five brothers; four sisters. Mr. Reaves is survived by his wife, Janet Frisby Ross Reaves; son, Dennis Reaves of Pine Bluff; daughters, Cookie Thrower of Hot Springs, Kimberly Maxey of Maine; step-children, James, David, Michael Frisby and Norma McCormac; brothers, Charles, Richard Reaves; sisters, Joann Stringfellow, Louise Speerlock; thirty-two grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 12-1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m., all at Claude Road Baptist Church with Reverends Mark Staples and Roy Tilley officiating.
