We the People Connected Inc. presents Jack Robey Junior High School with a $500 contribution after Robey was named the top school in the Pine Bluff School District through a contest sponsored by the organization recently. Participants at the presentation included, from left, Bennie Shelton, Jack Robey Principal Donald Booth, We the People Connected President Sandra Seepersad, Gregory Moore and Officer Sanita Girley. Seepersad presented the donation to Booth. Funds were collected through a raffle for the top school. The organization has been a part of the city since 2015 and also works in conjunction with Pine Bluff High School to mentor students. (Special to The Commercial)
