The Dollarway School District will host virtual Community Conversations from Monday to Oct. 13 to gain the public’s input as the state determines whether to return the district to local control, according to a news release.
In the coming months, the state Board of Education will determine whether the Dollarway district has met the criteria to be returned to local control or whether other action must be taken. To help make the best decision for the district students, families and the community are invited to share their voices in a series of community input conversations.
“Are you invested in the Dollarway School District? We want to hear about your experiences in the district and your hope for its future,” according to the release.
These discussions will include three to six members of the community. All responses shared will be kept confidential and the participation is voluntary. To be a part of the conversation, participants must register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DollarwayCommunityConversations2020.
