Pine Bluff District Court Judge John L. Kearney has announced his candidacy for re-election to the position he has held since 2009.
“As district court judge, I have been privileged to serve this community, and I consider it an honor to do so,” Kearney said in a press release. “I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve, and I would very much like to continue that service.”
Kearney is judge for District Court Division II, which covers the city of Pine Bluff.
Judicial races are nonpartisan and will take place at the same time as the party primaries on March 1.
