WHITE HALL – Dennis L. McVay, age 62, of White Hall, died Thursday, September 11, 2014.
Born September 25, 1951 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late Henry Allen McVay and Mary Butler McVay. He was a member of Christian Life Church, and he loved his family and kids. Mr. McVay worked for the PIne Bluff Police Department for 21 years, retiring as a captain. For the past five years,he was an HVAC instructor at SEARK College.
Dennis survivors include his wife, Jenny Riggins McVay, whom he married on July 4, 1996 at Pine Bluff; four children, Amber McVay(Ben), Angela Romine, Amanda Henderson; two brothers, Kipper McVay( Cindy) and Jerry McVay (Martha); nine grandchildren Kaelin Smith (Corey), Maddison Stanfield, Sofia McVay, Luke Cummings, Allison Carraway, Eli Carraway, Dylan, Austin, and Sara Romine; and a great-grandchild, Aibre Smithwick.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South. Graveside services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m. at Cypress Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bill Kiggins officiating. Online condolences: Fuller Funerals.com
