David E. Parker was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas June 18, 1951. He was the second child born to Dr. David E. Parker Sr. and Mary Dell Guinn Parker. He was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School. He attended Princeton University as an undergraduate and received his law degree from Georgetown School of Law. He practiced law briefly before illness cut short his career. He is survived by his brothers Michael J. Parker and Kenneth L. Johnson III, his sister Laura Parker Castoro, his step-father Kenneth L. Johnson Jr, a niece and two nephews.
David lived a terrible fate with courage and dignity, and on his own terms. He is, at last, at peace.
The rosary will be, Friday, May 1,2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the P.K. Miller Mortuary. A requiem mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Saint Peter Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Bellwood Cemetery. Services entrusted to the P.K. Miller Mortuary.
