GOULD – David Allan Farabough, 81, of Gould, passed away in Pine Bluff
on August 18, 2015. He was born in Dumas on June 10, 1934 to the late
Thomas Edgar Farabough and Winnie Callahan Farabough.
His parents and two brothers, Cecil Edward Farabough and Thomas Eugene
Farabough preceded him in death.
David was a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, served as
Deacon, taught Sunday school, superintendent of Sunday school,
superintendent of BTC and Teachers. David was a retired farmer and
served in the Arkansas National Guard.
Survivors are his wife, Marjorie Norris Farabough of Gould and one
son, Davy Farabough (Jeri) of Dumas; one sister, Mary Frances
Farabough of Dumas; two grandchildren, Lauren Farabough and John David
Farabough.
Visitation held Thursday, August 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Smyrna Missionary
Baptist Church. Funeral services held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10
a.m. also at Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Charles
McBride, Rev. Steve Hoskins, Rev. John Young and Rev. Julius Carter
officiating with burial following in Walnut Lake Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, Lincoln
County Relay for Life or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
