Drainage improvements will require closing a portion of Arkansas 8 in Dallas County from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 13-17, weather permitting.
Crews will install a new box culvert beneath Arkansas 8, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department. Work will occur 2.5 miles west of the Arkansas 9 intersection.
The work will require closing Arkansas 8 during the installation. An alternate detour route will be provided utilizing Arkansas 9, 128 and 7 from Princeton to Dalark. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
